Palak Panneer. ( Microwave method ) cooking time - 25 mins.
Ingredients :
1. Palak - 6 cups
2. Panneer - 1/4 kg
3 . Green Peas ( optional) - 1 cup (boiled)
4. onion - 4 nos.
5. Green chillie - 5
6. ginger - 1 piece
7. Butter - 2 tab.sp
8. Tomato - 3
9. Oil - 1 tab. sp
10 . yogurt - 1/2 cup
11. cream - 2 tab sp
12. Jeera - 1 sp.
13. Garam masala - 1/4 sp
Salt to taste.
Method :
1. Cut panneer into small cubes and brush little oil over it and microwave high for 1 minute.
2. Boil palak with litle water for 10 mins, in microwave high.
3. Grind togather, onion, g.chillie, ginger, to a paste.
4. Grind palak with little water to a paste.
5. In a microwave vessel, put butter and add jeera and garam masala and leave for a minute.
6. Then add onion masala and fry for 4 mins.
saute in between one or two times.
7. Then add finely chopped tomato and fry for 3 mins. saute in between.
8. Then add palak paste, green peas, yogurt, salt, and boil for 6 mins. saute in between.
9. Take out the gravy and add cream at last.
